六つの主要テーマ
CJIDは256件の投稿を六つの主要テーマに分類している。第一はアラサン・ウワタラ大統領の第4期出馬をめぐる合法性問題。2016年憲法で任期は2期までとされているが、2020年に改憲後、三選を果たしたウワタラが再び出馬を表明したことで、「第4期は違憲」「民主主義の崩壊」といった投稿が急増した。第二はクーデターの噂。2025年5月、Xで「ウワタラ死亡」「軍が蜂起」「首都アビジャン封鎖」などの虚偽情報が拡散した。TikTokでは軍用車両や爆発音の映像が数十万回再生されたが、その多くは隣国ブルキナファソやマリの過去映像を編集したもので、AI生成映像も混在していた。CJIDはこれを「Sahel spillover（サヘル波及）」と呼び、周辺国の不安定な情勢を模倣することで恐怖と同時に共感を生み出す仕組みと指摘する。第三は「France dégage（フランス出て行け）」に代表される反仏・反西洋ナラティブ。旧宗主国フランスへの反感がロシア支持や汎アフリカ主義と結びつき、政治的立場を超えて広がった。第四はブルキナファソのイブラヒム・トラオレ大統領を英雄視する汎アフリカ主義。TikTok上では「アフリカを解放する若きリーダー」としてトラオレを賛美する動画が大量に投稿された。第五は候補者を「西側の操り人形」とするフレーミング。第六は野党排除と不正選挙疑惑。主要野党候補ティジャン・ティアムの失格が発表されると、「体制による民主主義の破壊」とする投稿が連鎖的に拡散した。
時系列で見る拡散パターン
1月から6月までは「第4期出馬」問題が中心的議題として継続したが、7月にウワタラが正式出馬を表明すると状況は激変した。Xで法的正当性をめぐる論争が爆発的に拡散し、TikTokでは街頭デモや抗議映像を素材とした短尺動画が増え、Facebookではそれらが録画やスクリーンショットの形で共有され、“市民の怒り”として定着した。5月のクーデター噂は短期的には最も速い拡散速度を示したが、継続性がなく数日で沈静化。一方、7月以降の第4期出馬問題と8月の野党排除論争は持続的に注目を集め、長期的な世論形成につながった。CJIDはこれを「瞬発型ナラティブ」と「定着型ナラティブ」に分け、拡散の速度と持続性を比較している。瞬発型は即時的な恐怖と混乱を生み出すが短命であり、定着型は継続的に社会的分断を深める。
